Ha Giang is a high mountain loop, and we'd rather be honest with you than sell you a postcard. The road is real, and so is the care it takes.
The passes here are narrow and exposed. A clear sky can turn to fog in twenty minutes, the surface goes slick in the rain, and you share the road with trucks, buffalo and first-time riders who have never met a switchback before.
